The Super Secret Society: A Playable Play (The Tabard)

February 4-19, The Tabard Theater (San Jose)

This was definitely a very different theater experience than what we usually go to see and we all really enjoyed it! We were so intrigued by the descriptions of it as immersive theater co-written by Chat GPT, plus featuring different guest actors for each performance and some acrobatics!

This was our first visit to the Tabard Theatre (note to self to check if there are Sharks games the nights we want to venture to San Pedro Square in San Jose). We were very sad to read the news that The Tabard Theatre will be closing down after their next production (though we are hoping to go see Once since it’s been on our list of ones we’d like to see… it runs March 10 – April 2 though which overlaps with a lot of other things)

We attended the Feb 18th performance which featured River Burmudez-Sanders with a Sondheim theme

There were fun things to explore all around the theater as well

The creator/director/star Max went around and talked to everyone in the audience before the show
